Rule number 3, always pay your rent first.
We all need somewhere to crash, a sanctuary if you were. Someplace that we don't need to worry about folks coming round putting bolt locks on so you can't get in. That's just basic shit.
I'd pay my rent first even if I had to eat grits and Ramen noodles for the rest of the month.
